Mathalos was awakened a Cypherite but soon realized he was put here for another reason, to serve and protect his second home. He is a very loyal Machinist that has no regret about anything that he has done to protect himself, others and the System. He believes efficiency and determination are the keys to success in life. He wishes to one day finish the war and bring the System back to a peaceful state. He believes this is only obtainable by showing no weakness to the others that try to endanger him and the place he calls home.
